Holiday Traditions in the Cincinnati Area

My husband and I don’t have much in the way of traditions.  We make sure to share Christmas and Christmas Eve with my family and his.
We are beginning to create new traditions as we have an 18 month old.  She loves lighting the tree but not really interested in much else.  We put up lights outside, reluctantly.  A tree with lights but no ornaments and that is about it.  Our daughter finds a way into get into everything so we are keeping it low key.  We are exploring some holiday fun.  We have made it to Krohn Conservatory with her grandma and aunt and she really enjoyed it.   And discussing keeping her up past her bedtime and taking her to see some of the lights on a week night or just after Christmas.

I collected a few fun things that we will try  out.  Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Where to see Santa in Cincinnati for Free!
  • Downtown Macy
  • Bass Pro Shop - Cincinnati Mills
    • My husband took our little one on Friday just after 5.  He said the line was short and the Santa was great.  He worked with my hubby and our screaming daughter!  He brought home 3 pictures with Santa.  None perfect but still cute, documenting the struggle!
